The specifications for the on and off times (24 V / 0 V) and the phase shift depend on the specific SL-Vario module. A common feature of all modules (ZMV, DSV, IOV and INV) is the fixed phase shift of 90° between the individual clock outputs (for the ZMV, this applies to outputs O1, O2, O3 and O4).
For the ZMV base module, the clock times are determined by the configured network load (NL):

At 350 NL: The dark period (0 V) is 5 ms, the light period (24 V) is 950 ms.

At 500 NL: The dark period increases to 7.5 ms, whilst the light period remains at 950 ms.
The DSV, IOV and INV expansion modules, on the other hand, operate completely independently of the network load. They use standardised and fixed values: the dark time is consistently 4 ms and the light time 1000 ms.
