Operating synchronous motors with the sensorless standstill monitoring module DN3PS2

The use of the DN3PS2 modules in combination with synchronous motors is possible - with some slight restrictions.

For applications with synchronous motors, the settings for the switching thresholds may only be made in the range 1 to 7. With settings 8 to 15, the standstill of the synchronous motor may be detected too early.

What, if my module is already in use?

It is mandatory to check whether the switching thresholds of the devices in the range 1 to 7 leads to the desired result for the operation of your machine. If this is the case, the devices must be parameterized accordingly - also retrospectively.

What, if switching thresholds 1 to 7 do not work for my purpose?

If the switching thresholds 1 to 7 do not lead to the desired result for your application, please get in touch with our Support-Team
