      What do the technical specifications "Performance Level d" and "Category 3" mean?

      These specifications define the risk level and reliability of an application. The Safeone DS module meets both requirements.

      Performance Level d (PL d)

      Refers to the reliability of safety functions.

      Category 3

      Describes the structure of the safety circuit, where a single fault must not lead to the loss of the safety function. The module's safety-related technical parameters are an MTTFd of 100 years, Performance Level d, and Category 3.
