      What is the difference between Sin/Cos and TTL encoders?

      Difference between encoder types

      The Safeone DS module has a safety-related encoder input (RJ45) that can process both signal types, Sin/Cos and TTL. 

      Sin/Cos-Encoder

      Sin/Cos encoders provide sinusoidal and cosinusoidal signals for high resolution and accuracy.

      TTL-Encoder

      TTL (Transistor-Transistor-Logic) encoders provide a digital square wave signal and are widely used.
